           We may try to become the health conscious, fittest and successful person in this world we live in, however without God operating in our lives we are nothing. We are nothing without God in our life. It is good thing to eat well and desire to be healthy, let's put priority first.  I choose to put God first, because my life would be a mess without him. Although, I am a Natural Health Practitioner and help people get their health in order, without God I am nothing. I must always put him first!

           God's word says to "

            seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you!"

      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Matthew 6:33.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            No need to worry about anything, just trust God! Put God first in everything you do! Put him first even if your flesh doesn’t feel like it. Think about your spiritual man! The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak indeed. We got to get our mind set on the Lord, because all these things in this world is going to pass away, but our spiritual man has an eternal place to go. I pray that the Lord helps me(us) with our walk with him, to be sure we make it in.

So many times, we are all over the place and not carrying out what God wants us to do in life. Take a moment to breathe, pray, meditate in his word so that God can lead you and guide you on his will for your life. Make your appointment with Jesus every day. First begin with
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           morning, noon and night because it is stated in his word. Pray and meditate in
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           his word morning, noon and night. After you have made your appointment with the Lord, pray over
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           things you desire and allow God to order your steps. Make time to eat, time to sleep, time to get up, time to plan, time to prepare your meals and such. God says he will give us the desires of our heart. However, our desires must be
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           according to his word and not the world. Let us begin to make time for the Lord!

           I have now added a new element to my workout routine in order to further enhance my overall fitness. Currently, as part of my regimen, I have been diligently working towards achieving my goal of taking 6000 steps for 5 days each week with a combination of walking, jogging, and low-impact exercises. While the majority of my steps come from walking, I have recently incorporated a specific focus on strengthening my core muscles.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           In addition to my regular routine, I have taken on a 30-day challenge to engage in standing abdominal exercises with the goal of witnessing noticeable improvements in my midsection. By dedicating time to my core, I aim to not only achieve a more toned physique but also improve my overall strength and stability.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;

  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           But why prioritize core workouts, you may ask? Core exercises are crucial for maintaining proper posture, preventing injuries, and enhancing performance in various physical activities. By targeting the muscles in the abdomen, lower back, and pelvis, core workouts can lead to better balance, improved coordination, and increased overall strength. So, join me on this journey as I strive to enhance my fitness levels and witness the transformative power of focusing on core strength in my workouts.

Just taking in the natural air and taking time to breathe. How about read a book, art, go out for dinner or have dinner without being distracted with your phone. Call someone without texting.             Exercising is good for your heart, joints and your mind. Let's get things moving. My workout this morning was a 30 minute Fastwalk with Leslie Sansone. Everyone knows she has been around for years with her effective and fun walk workout routine. I find her motivational and easy to catch on and I was actually able to complete the workout. There is more I need to do, but I am thankful that I achieved this task.

           Swollen feet &amp;amp; ankles is a condition that many seniors have and ignore…

    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           BIG mistake.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           If you sit down, remove your socks &amp;amp; shoes, and it looks as if there was a rubber band around your ankle or your socks are still “there”… something’s not right.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Constant aching and discomfort in your feet even when you’ve tried everything: normal exercise, drink enough water, and wear supportive shoes… this is not only frustrating but possibly dangerous.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           These symptoms point to circulation issues causing blood &amp;amp; fluid to pool in the tissue around your feet and ankles...
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           And could result in serious clots or devastating cardiac events.

            We are fighting everyday with some sort of ailment, issue, disease, mental and physical. What we must do is take action to improve. Be consistent and determined to make that change. I pray that the Lord help us all to be stedfast!

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

            Day One of No Sugar only from fruits. I pray that all goes well. This morning, I ate one of my favorite healthy meals which is oatmeal without my infamous brown sugar. Over the years, that is the only way I would eat oatmeal, even with fruit and nuts, I have always added my brown sugar and butter.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            You learn better that all this sugar is not necessary. I only tried sugar strictly from my blueberries and strawberries. I added Greek Yogurt, used olive oil instead of butter and added cinnamon. I ate it plain and it didn't taste that bad at all.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

Foods with a high glycemic index, or simple sugars, give you this quick burst of energy with a rise in blood sugar quickly. But then you’ll tend to feel pretty tired afterward and will get hungry quickly.

           What a blessed day to be alive!! How is everyone doing today? I am praying for God's blessings and overflow over your life today! God is Good!!! I just want to praise him this morning for who he is! I am thankful that he watches over me and family daily! I pray that he watches over all who may read this blog today.

           I just want to share a brief word concerning a little health wisdom. If something is going on with your body, your body naturally signals to you in form of pain, discomfort, elevated blood pressure, nausea, headache, skin rashes and fever just to name a few.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
           Watch out for any signals and warnings what your body is trying to tell you. I want to share this morning a couple to look out for and PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE! Pray and get help!
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;ul&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Facial Dropping, Slurred Speech or Arm Weakness- Signs of stroke alerting you to get help now.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Severe vomiting or diarrhea
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - Call your physician if you are not able to take any water in.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Red, painful, itchy rash or blisters on one side of your body- Possibly shingles
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Unexplained weight loss
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - Although some would like to lose weight, however, if there's a sudden drop in weight could be dangerous.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Heartburn and Recurrent Indigestion
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - Possibly a sign of cardiovascular disease. Talk to your physician.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Change in size or color of moles
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - Noticeable mole that has changed in size or color, get it checked out by your doctor ASAP, could be a sign of Melanoma ( An aggressive for m of skin cancer)
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Hair Thinning
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - If you are losing hair besides the normal hair loss, if you are losing your thickness and more strands than you normally do, could be a sign of a serious issue such as an auto- immune disorder or vitamin deficiency. Talk to your physician.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Constant thirst
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - Excessive thirst can be a sign of diabetes because high blood sugar levels cause an imbalance of water in the body
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Sudden painful headache
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - When the pain is severe could be a sign of something serious. Could be serious like a stroke, brain tumor or aneurysm.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;li&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Black Tarry Stool
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            - Your bowel movements can tell a lot about what is going on inside your body.Notify your physician, could be bleeding in your GI system.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/li&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/ul&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;

Is it normal to have menstrual cramps,  are there disorders when you have severe cramps, mood swings, abnormal bleeding, missed periods and painful period beyond cramps.

           This week we are focusing on helping others who are suffering with Hypertension. What is hypertension, how can it be controlled, how should I change my lifestyle, what food should I eat, what foods should be avoided, types of medications, types of natural remedies and more this week.            I will begin with this post on defining Hypertension. ( High Blood Pressure)  is when the heart pumps blood through the arteries, the blood presses against the walls of the blood vessels. In people who suffer from hypertension, this pressure is abnormally high. If blood pressure is elevated, the heart must work harder to pump an adequate amount of blood to all the tissues of the body.
          &#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
        
            Normal range of blood pressure is below 120/80 mm Hg.
           &#xD;
      &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/span&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;span&gt;&#xD;
      
            Blood pressure is represented as a pair of numbers. The first or the top number is the systolic, which is the pressure exerted by the blood when the heart beats, forcing blood into the blood vessels. The second reading is the diastolic pressure, which is recorded when the heart is at rest in between beats, when the blood pressure is at its lowest.
          &#xD;

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;

            Today marks my first juice fast for the year. Today I made it official because yesterday, I didn't do well on it. I cooked my husband dinner and I gave in. I purpose not to give in today and I succeeded. All glory to the Lord!

  &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
  &lt;p&gt;&#xD;

            Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can cause pain and stiffness that makes moving the last thing you want to do.

              Aerobic conditioning-

             Exercise that increases your heart rate and breathing rate has many benefits, including lowering your chances of developing conditions such as diabetes, stroke, and heart disease.

    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;font&gt;&#xD;

              Resistance training-

             Weak muscles, whether due to inactivity or to the side effects of medications can diminish your stamina and leave joints less stable. Isometric exercises can be a great way to start resistance training. When pain is under control, free weights or weight machines are good options for building muscle and increasing strength.
            &#xD;
        &lt;/font&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/font&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;font&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;font&gt;&#xD;
          &lt;br/&gt;&#xD;
        &lt;/font&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;/font&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;/div&gt;&#xD;
    &lt;div&gt;&#xD;
      &lt;font&gt;&#xD;

              Stretching and flexibility exercises-

             Joints damaged by rheumatoid arthritis , just don't move the same. It may be very important to include stretching exercises such as pilates, yoga and tai chi.
